How Lucifer Became My Love For Netflix
How one show on Netflix transformed me from a gamer to a movie addict

How and why lucifer is responsible for my love for Netflix?
Ahem, let me clarify.
Well, it was the year 2020, oh my lovely school days when I was just a regular gamer, not that much interested in movies, yeah
At that time, I was so busy gamin’ that I didn’t even know Netflix existed, I had a little bit of an idea about what it was but I hadn’t seen it properly
On the other hand, my friend was a true movie lover. His favorite genre was action—comedy, and there was not a single day in which he didn’t watch a movie.
So I was a little intrigued, about his obsession
Carrying on to the next day, I decided to give Netflix a try, at that time whoever used to have a subscription, was considered a rich lad among friends.
My feed was full of a variety of movies. I don’t know all the names, but the one that interested me the most was Lucifer. The next day, when I started watching it, I couldn’t believe that I was too glued to the screen for hours a day just for a series.
That addiction was for games before. I still remember my gaming friends were totally tired and furious about me for not joining the game.
I was like totally hooked up for the rest of the day, yeah I used to take washroom breaks but I used to finish watching 2 to 4 episodes till evening.
Within 2 months I finished watching Lucifer(all 5 seasons), at that time it only consisted of 5 seasons, later on, s5 part 2, and s6 were released on Netflix
I later completed watching the full series in my free time, but sadly my spirit for watching movies was not as strong as before.
Back in 2020, after I finished watching Lucifer I shuffled for more movies on Netflix, it felt like watching movies had become an addiction for me without which I couldn’t live, thus increasing my love for movies.
The reason why I always prefer Netflix is that we all know how extensive their movie library is and second the quality they provide, which I liked the most
They don’t pop up ads in between running movie/series, even in their basic monthly plan of ₹199, other streaming platforms like disney+hotstar always pop up the same freaking ad every 15 mins while watching any movie,
The last time I remember watching a movie on Disney+hotstar, a google pay ad was popping frequently, really annoying to just think of it.
Therefore, this was how my love for a platform became alive which made me a true movie enthusiast.
