How to Fail in Writing
Welcome to another episode where I always awaken my inner writer. LOL
So after creating a very well Substack newsletter that had the potential for growth in the long run, I left it dried, not uploading any stories, not replying to any comments, not engaging, and even not opening the app for months
Where writers I subscribed to were uploading their articles, I was busy playing games on my PC.
Well, if you’re unable to grasp the concept of who I am and what I’m actually saying now, you can know the context by reading the article below, where I discussed how I’m going to grow on Substack this year. As we all know, I haven’t even written a single article since.
After completing my graduation, I started working in an MNC, so I decided to stop focusing on content writing and put my body and mind into my job.
There were actually 2 reasons behind why I stopped writing here and on substack. I guess no one is pretty interested but let me put my word here.
- The 1st reason is that, I didn’t make myself mentally prepared to give my 100 percent here, I was only pushing myself out of will to write and publish on these 2 platforms.
- the 2nd reason is that I felt that I was giving my full potential but was not receiving anything from the other end i.e. money. It was like shouting in the void and day by day my motivation for writing was decreasing rapidly.
Well, let’s forget about what happened, let’s focus on what is going to happen
A few days ago at my work, I suddenly searched about medium, whether the Medium Partner Program is available for my country India or not, and guess what, I was utterly surprised to see that it was now active.
My hopes, determination, and motivation again began to rise about writing and thus within a week I quickly made my plans regarding medium.
Now I’ll be eligible to put my stories behind the paywall and earn from it

Now I’ll be publishing stories every week, for now, I can’t say how many but it will be consistent every week. My niche will be the same as before — movie reviews, so if you’re interested in reading my work make sure to follow, leave your comments, and show your love.
I know it’ll be a long journey for me to build an audience again from scratch but it would be fun to know and engage with you all again.
